Radon Testing

Radalink radon monitors are more accurate, sensitive and will give you more detailed reports faster compared to the radon canisters or even other radon monitors.  The monitor will read radon concentration, temperature, barometric pressure, and relative humidity once per hour for the duration of the test.  The monitor will also know if it has been moved or windows and doors have been opened.  The monitor does not emit radiation or anything harmful.  Once the test is complete, the report will be sent out within a few hours directly from the lab from the email address [email protected]

To ensure an accurate reading, all windows and doors, other than normal coming and going, need to remain closed for 24 hours prior to the test and at least 48 hours once the test devices are placed.

Why Is Radon Testing Important?

Radon is the number one cause of lung cancer among non-smokers, according to EPA estimates. Overall, radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer. Radon is responsible for about 21,000 lung cancer deaths every year. About 2,900 of these deaths occur among people who have never smoked. On January 13, 2005, Dr. Richard H. Carmona, the U.S. Surgeon General, issued a national health advisory on radon.
